MKUZI GAME RESERVE

INTRODUCTION
Situated
along the main North Coast Road, Mkuzi Game Reserve was established in
1912 and covers an area of approximately 33000ha. Game viewing is
excellent in the park but it is especially known for its prolific bird
life. Two viewing hides have been erected along the Nsumo Pan for visitors
to watch the more than 400 species of bird - best during the summer
months. A wide variety of activities are available for visitors,
including; game drives, guided walks and a traditional Zulu Cultural
Village which will take you back in time to the life and experiences of
these African people.

Dumazulu
Cultural Village: Tours, ethnic dancing shows, a crocodile pool,
snake pit and aviary are all available at this interesting village and
is sure to take you back in time.

Lodge: A cheetah breeding Station where you may view these
beautiful animals and their offspring by appointment only.
